The International Journal of Bengali Literature (IJBL) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing original research, critical analyses, and scholarly works in the field of Bengali literature. The journal encompasses a broad spectrum of Bengali literary studies, from ancient to modern periods, including prose, poetry, drama, and folk literature.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to: literary criticism, comparative literature, translation studies, linguistics, cultural studies, postcolonial studies, gender and identity analysis in literature, literary theory, textual analysis, digital humanities, and interdisciplinary research connecting Bengali literature with history, philosophy, sociology, and the arts.

IJBL also welcomes research on the global influence of Bengali literature, pedagogical approaches to literary studies, and contemporary literary trends.
